Kentucky Supreme Court upholds 3-drug lethal injection protocol:  Adam Liptak has this coverage in the New York Times of yesterdays ruling by the Kentucky Supreme Court that Kentucky's use of a 3-drug lethal-injection protocol does not violate the US Constitution's prohibition against cruel and unusual punishment, despite conceding that it might cause needless pain.  The Lexington Herald-Leader has this coverage.  The Louisville Courier-Journal has this.  AP has this.
