Ohio Attorney General to Appeal Henderson Stay to US Supreme Court

Jerome Henderson update:  The Ohio attorney general's office has indicated that they are appealing the Henderson stay of execution to the US Supreme Ct.  (See earlier post on stay of execution upheld earlier today by the full 6th Circuit Ct of Appeals.)  AP has this.

Note:  According to a public information officer at the US Sup Ct., a response by the court to the AG's appeal could come early, or late, or even tomorrow morning.  The court's ruling will be posted here as soon as a phone call is received from the court.

UPDATE:  According to a call from a public information officer at the court at 6:20 PM ET, a ruling could be imminent.
