Where is the Ohio media coverage of heightened lethal-injection controversy? Where is the Ohio media coverage of the lethal-injection controversy going on around the country - and its relevance to the current challenge to Ohio's lethal-injection protocol presently on hold in US District Ct pending the outcome of an appeal to the US 6th Circuit Ct of Appeals, and the US 6th Circuit's recent contradictory behavior upholding some stays of execution and lifting others with no explanation while questions over lethal injections in Ohio continue to go unresolved?
Is the failure of the federal courts to deal responsibly with uncertainties about lethal injections in Ohio a cue for the new Ohio governor- and attorney general-elect to step in and do what needs to be done after taking office - i.e., stop the executions to allow an examination of what is going on, either in the courts or by creation of an Ohio death-penalty study commission, or both?
